Using List Creator:

To use List Creator you must enter an area code and prefix in the area code / prefix text boxes and click [Get Phone Numbers].  If you would like to create a list of area codes and prefixes to search for then click [Create Prefix List].  See Creating a prefix list below.  After creating the prefix list, check the [Enable Prefix List] option to search from the list.  List Creator automatically remembers where you left off so you can quit the program at any time and restart were you left off.  To exit program click stop (only if getting phone numbers) and click [Quit] to exit to windows.

Creating a Prefix list:

To create a prefix list to search for click [Create Prefix List].  After the window loads then select a state, area code, or city from the combo boxes.  List Creator has a database of every area code and prefix currently in the United States.  After selecting your Query click [Load Query].  Notice the Custom Query textbox contains the Query you just created in standard SQL format.  If you would like to create your own custom Query just modify the Custom Query text box to suit your needs.  {Note: SQL used}  Then click [Run Query].  For custom queries you must have [ac] [pre] fields in your output table to append to the prefix list.  Click [Clear List] to clear the prefix list.  Please note this will delete all records in the prefix list.  If you are currently using the prefix list and don’t want to delete the current list then click on [Append to List] instead.  Click [Close] to close this window and begin searching.  Please note: [Enable Prefix List] must be checked to use the prefix list for searching.

Exporting List

To export your list click [Export List]. In order to export you must first create an export table.  To build an export table you must first build a query.  To build a query select state, county, zip code or city from combo boxes.  Now click [Test Query] to test your query and check for errors.  When ready to export, type in a table name and click [Build Table].  After you build your table click [Export…]. When the new window opens click Export Data.  Now select your table from list and click Next>.  Next choose the fields you wish to export and click Next>. You can now choose your export type and click Export.  Now select your directory and type in your filename (prefix not necessary) and click save.  You’re done!
